Proper attempt for overcalls on the end?

Wondering if I should have raised on the end, I would have only gotten called by other flushes probably. Or was my attempt at getting overcalls fine?

I like it. MP2 may very well fold if you raise, and so might M3.

if MP3 bets this river he is almost always going to call a raise, while MP2 may not overcall anyways if you call behind. you should have raised.

Eh, I'd raise. If MP2 folds, and MP3 calls, you make the same amount as if you just call. At least this way, you give MP2 the chance to call two. I'm not afraid of a boat.

it looks like mp2 is also on a flush draw, so I think you'd do better to raise here and hope he three-bets. If he wasn't, you don't lose anything because mp3 will probably crying call your raise. I might go for an overcall if there were two or more guys behind you.

Thanks guys. I'm not entirely sure if I've ever conciously thought of going for overcalls on the end until this hand. Looks like I screwed it up too [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Gotta learn somewhow.

Raise this river, If Mp2 folds mp3 will probably call(No loss). And is mp2 calls you've got an extra bet with your win.
