Default Correct Pre-Flop call?

Dear All,

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, anyway

Party $2/$4.

I am utg +1 with J7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG raises to $4, I make the loose call (my question is not the original call... I know it should have been a fold).

UTG+2 makes it $6, UTG+3 caps it, next player folds, the rest call the cap except the blinds who fold out, the bet is to me.
I know, UTG+2 is gonna call the cap for the extra $2, my question is this:

Do I have enough players/equity/pot odds to make the $4 cap bet, knowing there will be a $51 pot P/F?

Regards David

That's not a loose call, that's a terrible call. But as you're going to get a flush 6% of the time or so, along with the number of times you'll get your non-nut straight and a dominating hand like trips, I make it a call.

Yea, agreed it was a terrible call ( I occasionally do stupid stuff) I made my [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]flush on the river and was cursed out royally , but I figured I had the pot odds to call the $4, just wanted to check

First call = terrible.
Second call = mandatory.
