Default Imperial Poker (SPAM?)

Hi,

Just got an email from "Imperial Poker"... basically it was spam, and I don't know how they got my email address.

Anyone else receive this... want to try and work out who sold out on me...

The only sites I have registered to my main email are...

Party
Empire
CheckNRaise (via dynamite)

The sites I have registered to my email addy are:

A $10 free trial sounds almost too good to be true

Stars also have my email addy for obvious reasons, but if there is something that I know 100%, it is that I have not been sold out by my own employer

So far it is looking like Party/Empire Has anyone received this spam that doesn't have Party or Empire registered to the addy? Or perhaps if someone got it that has one or the other... any info appreciated to help get to the bottom of this - I wanna know who sold me out!

I can actually answer this question very simply, since I use unique email addresses for every poker site.

EmpirePoker & Pokerplex both sold email addresses to this outfit for their spams.

Doesn't suprise me. Empire keep soliciting me with mail to my house when I closed my account due to their solicitation in the first place....!

Anyway I got this response from Imperial which is actually quite good....

Me too. I've been forwarding all the poker / casino spam I get to support@ whatever casino and basically saying "stop your spammy affiliate or I'll make sure you're blacklisted as many places as possible"

100% success rate thus far at getting affiliate accounts blocked. Stupid spammer. Of course the casino keeps the comissions from anyone dumb enough to signup through spam, so they are kind of getting the best of both worlds.
