While we're on the subject of Ciaffone's books.

I wanted to buy a few books, and e-mailed him at the address on his site. I know I can be a little impatient. Does anyone know what his usual response time is ?

[/ QUOTE ]

He's usually quick, I've received replies within 24 hours. But presumably he can be off, you know, playing poker somewhere...

He is usually very quick, but he does a bit of travelling. IYP and PLNLP are some of the best poker books I've read. They're absolutely excellent and must haves for any serious player.

From Bob himself? He charges less in S&H than any bookstore known to me as well.

I hope I won't get in trouble for saying this on the fourm since it's a direct question in reply to a post I made... I do accept special orders over the net and can accept neteller payments or transfers on poker sites.

Also, if you order from Bob, he autographs the books and you can email him any questions you have.

I would add Middle Limit Holdem to that equation as well. But either way i think all his books are highly reccomended.

I think Mason gave the pot and NL book 9/10. Its good. Imrpove your poker is also really good.

[/ QUOTE ]

As already said Mason gave PL&NL 10/10, and IYP 9/10.

I find IYP to be the best published essay collection on poker. (Sorry Mason and David!)

His Omaha book is very good as well, but it's damn hard to get these days. Hopefully a reprint is coming.

[/ QUOTE ]

I actually went to my local borders and ordered PL & NL, IYP and Omaha. Omaha took the longest but the other two were there within a week
