Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 3 folds, MP3 raises, 2 folds, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls, MP3 calls.

Turn: (6 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, UTG calls, MP3 folds.

River: (8 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks.

Final Pot: 8 BB

Flush came, plus an overcard ( wasn't as concerned about that, however)

Not a very interesting hand, just wondering how often this happens to people when the flush card comes and you bet and then get raised...

Bet it man, he might have made a flush but most of the time here he is calling you down with a worse hand. Give him a chance to do that.

Reads will allow me to check/call that or bet/fold it. Since you provided none, I don't like folding this hand. That preflop semi-coldcall isn't so hot.

Yeah, three-betting is a lot better. Mostly because you don't give BB and EP a chance to stay in the hand profitably unless they have very strong holdings.
