Default Fold top pair on turn?

Typical loose party 2/4, although no maniacs.
After the flop action I must be behind. Was my turn call too loose?
The pot is big, but at this point I could be drawing dead, or way behind a set.

I'd probably raise pf.

I think that the way you played the rest out is fine.

I’d raise PF is UTG+2 is a loose PF player. Not knowing that, I’d either call or fold PF depending on how often you see a raise PF from the people behind you.

You played the rest fine. I’d call the turn bet. Since the pot is big on the turn, the only hand that would be bad to see from BB is AA, but since he didn’t raise PF and an A fell on the flop and you have one in your hand, that is unlikely. I wouldn’t put him on a set until he raises someone on a big street.

You’re probably facing a pocket pair or a better A or Ax type 2-pair. In all those cases you have enough outs to call the turn bet.

Please don’t tell me you lost because UTG+2 caught a runner-runner flush.

to go with the chorus, I'd raise it PF. YOu want to isolate the limper. Hell, I'd open raise for sure at MP1 w/A9s. I think youplyed the hand just fine, in fact I think that you're winning a kicker war here often enough to take this baby down, but not often enough to cap or raise either the river or turn. nh

At a typical 2/4 game I can't see folding this preflop.
I try to follow the SSHE standards which is a limp in middle position, although I would open raise. I can see the advantage of a raise though, depending on my read on the limper.
Thank's to everyone for the input.
