10K stat post. Go nuts.
Can you guys take a look at these.
I've played many more than 10k hands at 0.5/1 just that I didn't have PT at the time. I can already guess the comments. "Too tight", "raise more pf", "decent agression factor", "check raise more", but feel free to add more or correct me. As for the VPIP I stick pretty much to SSHE tight table, but apparently I must be folding some winners. Curious as to which other hands can be played to get this around 20. After re-reading SSHE I saw all the situations in which check raises were appropriate so I've already begun working on that number. Any suggestions before moving to 1/2? Here are the stats, hopefully they work. Cheers, Travis |

"Too tight", "raise more pf", "decent agression factor", "check raise more" [/ QUOTE ] Sorry, you answered yourself already. Rest looks pretty good. Just loosen up and you'll be fine. |

[/ QUOTE ] To all of the above I would add, defend your BB more and steal more. Also, being that tight, I think going to showdowns more might be beneficial. Get your VPIP up towards at least 18. And move away from the charts whenever u can. Recognize the properties of each hand and when to play them and when to ditch them and your VPIP will start to move up a few notches. |

Thanks guys! Is that everything or is there something else?
Seems to me that most other stat posts get crushed, and mine hasn't. Could it be that my game is almost decent? Travis |

Re: 10K stat post. Go nuts.
yes, one reason you might not be getting a TON of replies is because your stats are pretty close to TAGgy. every thing that you and other posters have said so far applies, at 1/2 you'll get to steal more and defend more.
you might even be too aggressive postflop, which can be indicative of either 1) raising when you should call 2) folding when you should call I have no idea which. but it's not too far out of line, and it's something that you'll tweak as you start to let aggressive players bluff their money away while you check-call them down, and other good postflop lines that might not have you aplpying all the pressure (think check-call check-call bet). good luck at 1/2 EDIT: FWIW I steal at about 31% and fold BB to steal something like 52%. I might not even steal enough. don't slam on the steal/defend gas right away, but as you start to widen your range, and wonder if you can steal/defend more, that's the order of magnitude that you'd like to eventually reach. but it's kind of like as your postflop game expands, youll feel good playing more hands, and then bam, you find yourself playing more hands |
