push the turn

Why? If he is bluffing, he may fire again on the river. If he has 2 pair he might fold, and am I that afraid of him drawing out on me? If I just call here, he is pot committed no matter what with 2 pair. I do not see what pushing the turn does.

I would re-re-raise the turn. This seems like a classic case of a slowplayed set of 5's. UTG was hoping hero or MP2 would bet their ace and get more money in the pot. After he raises to 6, it's hard to see what is beating us here that wouldn't have raised preflop. I would be tempted to raise to about $15 and get him pot-committed.

he isn't committed with 2 pair (pot is only $15), esp. if he doesn't like the river. he minreraised you so he didnt want you to fold so you don't need to worry about letting him improve to get his money in.

You guys think re-reraising 2 pair will get more money than simply calling? Explain.

That makes sense. He didnt seem like too much of a maniac, so I guess a push here would have been best. Against the normal crazy player, do you agree that hes not getting away from this? Or should I have pushed turn on any type of player?

I don't see much wrong with your play here. I think most people go broke here. Hard to put someone on a higher set here when they limp, even if from UTG. I would have him on AQ and expect to win.

When he reraises the turn, I push. I expect him to call and show 55 or aces up. I'm sure you took down this pot.
