Default JTs- FLop call/raise question Along w/ River Raise

Hey All,
Sometimes I feel I out think myslef and cost myself bets by giving and letting them pass. Id appreciate Advice on Flop and Turn.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, 3 folds, SB raises, BB calls, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Standard

Flop: (8 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, BB calls, UTG calls, Hero calls.

I was calling here to hopefully have him bet the turn and then raise him after the BB and UTG called his 4 Dollar bet

Turn: (6 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls.

Sadly he didnt... Did i read him wrong or should i just have raised the flop. Hindsight 20/20 its obvious but im wondering for MOST any situation

River: (9 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG calls.

I feel this guy was randomly taking a shot at me. Did i value my Two pair too high? I do intend to fold to a 3 bet... IS that wrong? Lately ive been having a tad downswing :P so Im trying to learn my mistakes for some heavy summer playing

Final Pot: 13 BB

K Thanks,
Andrew

huh? After they all call Villain#1's bet to you, you should raise teh flop, and take an extra 1.5BB into the pot with you. That opens you to bet/fold the killer turn.

With top 2 on the flop, just raise for value. Those two donks will get caught in the middle putting in dead money.
