Re: 109 bubble push?
Can you tell me whether thsy should have called, even if they put me on random cards?
SB calls with 66, then BB over-calls with AKo. |

Re: 109 bubble push?
BB definately should call. 66s is debateable. If blinds are about to go up I might call if I put you on any two. Especially if I'm in the BB and last to act.

Re: 109 bubble push?
What about at the the 11s? Is this still such an easy push when people love to call, regardless of anything else, it seems? It wouldn't shock me if a hand like K7 called at the 11s.

[/ QUOTE ] No at the $11s this is much tougher, but of course it doesnt make any sense since this problem has 10k chips whereas there are 8k in play at the $11s. btw in this situation I would go allin even in a lower buyin event because our hand is simply too strong, however I may not move allin with any 2, as I likely would in a higher buyin. |

Re: 109 bubble push?
I’m not sure why everyone thinks this is a clear all in bet. If you lose here you are fighting for 2nd and 3rd spots. I like sitting back and watching the smaller stacks battle it out here. Your image (maniac) and your position UTG would make this a clear min raise or fold for me. The only way I am all in with this hand is on the button or in the small blind and even there it is depending on the likelihood of bb or sb calling. There are many players in the 109's that will take a shot at you with an A-10 type hand or any pocket pair because of your image.
