this was at a casino here, near chicago....cash, 500 NL table. I had $1000 in front of me.

i, yoolykeme am on the button....

blinds are 5 and 10

3rd seat raises to 60

everyone folds.

yoolykeme calls

flop comes a, 10, 6, off-suit

3rd seat checks

yoolykeme bets 100

3rd seat raises to 300

yoolykeme calls

3rd seat cheks blind

turn comes 7

yoolykeme goes all-in

3rd seat calls

i lose...

should i have either put him on AA pre-flop, or should i just not have been in the hand to begin with...

fold AT to a good raise preflop - its most often going to be up against a much stronger hand both preflop and after.

preflop is awful, VERY easy fold.....postflop is fine imo, although I might just push the rest of the way on the flop....It's funny you check blind on turn. That play always makes me laugh.

either way, dark checks are hilarious...I've seen SB do it in a 5way unraised pot preflop lol. It got checked around, and he made some HUGE bet on turn lol.

Fold preflop. Post flop play is fine, nothing you can really do.
