Villian pushes hands WAY too far earlier he 3 bet a flop with A8 when an A was on the board. which is why i called, thinking if i hit the right flop i could get it all in the middle.

I don't think you played this hand so badly...you could have simply called on the turn rather than raising, you had close to correct pot odds and you certainly had the implied odds.

But I fold pf.

I'd probably call the turn. I like preflop and flop play tho.

Unless you were planning to buy the pot on the river, no matter what came, and you had fair reason to think villian would fold often enough, I don't think your raise on the turn was a +EV move.

Against an opponent capable of folding a hand, I like it. In this case I think it's pretty bad since if you do hit on the river he will most likely pay you off and there's a good chance he won't fold.

why'd you fold the turn? That was terrible. I think the raise is very marginal unless you know you have a lot of folding equity - given that you folded to a small reraise, that makes raising even worse.

BTW, you're getting better than 2:1 (1270:500) on the turn to call - do it!
