Default why do you play poker

don't you have anything better to do? Can't you find a good job? What's the kick to play, just to life from your hand in your mouth? Day in day out you fight with some morons for a handfull $. Is it realy worth it? Most of you are like junkies fighting for some drugs. And then you come here and whine about some bad-beat or people doing fancy-all-ins. You don't deserve any better.

Enjoying the game. That's a good one. Go and flip burgers at McDonald. That will make you more $ than 99% of all posters here make playing poker. And you get a free burger every day. Most people here play 10 hrs a day and don't even make enough to feed the cats. You are all professionals!! Hahaha. The only profs. are the owners of pokersites. Raking a couple millions a year on the back of people living a worthless life.

Boy, you sound awfully disgruntled.

-- I am not a professional

-- I have a 40 hr/week job that is unrelated to poker

-- I make about $8-10/hr playing poker, which is more than an entry-level employee at McDonalds makes (barely)

-- If I did not find the game enjoyable I would not play, as I do not need the $8 per hour (see 2nd bullet point)

I'd play online chess but the opponents get too excited when I raise them on the first move. I tried to rustle up a hockey game in the Belagio card room and got booted. Guess I'm stuck with poker.

I'll take the bait and answer the post:

#1-- I like money

#2-- I enjoy playing, bad beats and all.

Better to Tilt here I guess than at the tables...

You still got intelligent reponses to your question...

I just chalked it up to Hung beating you for your cat food money.

Once again, we are dealing with a frustrated fish. The name speaks for it self.

And if you relly must know, by playing poker I work half as much as back then when I had a job, and make twice as much. This was probably your dream too. But I guess you just don't have what it takes.

Oh yes, I am an engeneer.
