Default Lots of changes at the Aladdin

OK, here is an update for all you guys. Lots of info:

Tourneys:
Mon-Thurs
10am $30 buy in $10 add on. T1000 + T1000 for add on. Averaging 120+ players, sign up early. Coffee, dougnuts, muffins served for tourney players.

1pm $50 buy in $10 add on. T1000 + T1000 for add on. Single rebuy for $40 for T2000 any time in first hour. Averaging 75-90 players.

NEW 7pm $100 buy in $10 add on. T1000 + T1000 for add on. Tourney is new but getting 3-5 tables/night.

Fridays at NOON. $100 buy in $10 add on T1000 + T1000 for add on. Averaging 85+ players. (note: 5/20/05 had 91 players and paid almost 2900 for first place, 9 places paid out.)

Sit N Go Sundays (only place in Vegas doing SnG's) coming soon, possibly this weekend.

$55 buy in, Top 2 get paid. Blinds/level times unvailable at the time of this writing. Most like will be 15 min lvls just like the SnG's that were running at the WPC in Reno this year.

Ok, on to cash games....

No Limit HE changes:
1/2 NL $50 min $200 max buy in (was 40-100). This has created some loose but good games to play and are quickly becoming the most popular (and profitable for players) game in the room.

2/5 NL $100-$500 buy in (was 100-300)
No changes in limit games.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Damn, Photoc, you guys are great!! I really hope these are a success... considering how bad most players are at SnG strategy, these are a huge opportunity for those who do know what's going on. I gather you could just adopt Party's SnG format, though it'd be nice to have slower levels & deeper stacks.

Solid. The 1-2NL change is great... how often does the 2/5 go? And do you ever have 6/12 limit going? See ya in early June.

All NL games and 4/8 limit and under games are 10% to $4 max rake, which is about the standard in town now. No flop no drop.

5/10 limit and higher have 5% rake to $4 max on them.

2/5 usually goes on weekends. Since there are so many choices for the same game in town now without a huge list of players like the 1/2 games. Of course, you can get 2/5 200 min/max NL at bellagio and wait 2 hours for a a seat

As for 6/12, unfortunately I've never seen it running. I enjoy 6/12 and 10/20 for limit and can beat them consistantly, just those games are hard to get in town on a constistant basis. About the only ones that go normally are the ones at the Mirage.

Poker Rate info? Was planning on staying at the Monte Carlo, but the Aladdin is quickly becoming a place I might like to stay and play at.

when I was there on Tues two weeks ago, the plan was to come in the backroad into Aladdin at 12:30 and try to get an alternate seat for that 1pm tourney.

Missed the exit, kept going to the Imperial palace where I found they're at 7pm on Tuesdays....DOH -

after that I went to the Mirage and Wynn, but I probably should have started drinking -

Photoc,

Thanks for the update. I have been playing there quite a bit lately. Took 4th in the 10am tourney on Wednesday.

The sit-n-go idea sounds great. What would the buy-in be, stack size, blind level etc.?

I know who Al Capone Jr. is, which dealer are you?

That info is unvailable to me at this time, except the buy in was posted in my original post of $55.
