my thinking with the call was that he was raising from a suspect position and that his raising standards would have gone down at that point. My thinking is he would probably raise a lot of pairs there, a lot of aces, and any hand that has face cards..
In this case he did have a solid hand (9,9) but would you just throw away aces all the time in the blinds from a LP raiser??? Maybe in this case I should have been just as concerend with the UTG caller and that's why I c/rd to find out where he was at or to get rid of him. |

Keep in mind, this is not a blind steal. There is already an EP limper in this hand.
