yes. 5 points for every $1 tourney fee, so it's a 71% rebate.

You will work your way through the bonus at a decent rate playing 2/4. But trying to clear it at 1/2 or lower, accumulating either 0 or 0.5 points per hand, could take an eternity. You need those $20 pots to get a full PlayerPoint (or whatever it is that they call them...)

"To get the bonus you need to collect enough player points within 60 days of the deposit. A bonus requires seven player points for every dollar. For example, a deposit bonus of $20 will require 140 player points. As soon as you have collected the points needed, your bonus will automatically be transferred to your PokerRoom account."

"How many points do I earn? Top of page
Hold'em, Omaha, 7 Card Stud
1 point for every raked real money hand where the rake was $1.00 or more. You get 0.5 points for every raked real money hand where the rake was less than $1.00 (but more than $0.50). You do not have to pay rake to earn points, you just need to be dealt cards. If you are sitting out you will not earn any points. "

Wyers pretty much hit the nail on the head. I signed up there today thinking it might be a quick bonus. I 3 tabled $25 NL and played $50 NL shorthanded at another, and after about 75 minutes had only racked up 50 of the 580 or so points I need to redeem the bonus (most of those probably coming from the $50 NL table).
At low limits, this seems pretty comparable to the Full Tilt bonus. If you're playing at least 2/4, it should clear pretty quickly.

lol that's an insult to pokerroom. PR player points are worth 14 cents in bonus, while FTP points are worth only 6 cents. half points would be proportional, so playing $1/2 LHE would average 7 cents per raked hand on PR and only 3 cents on Full Tilt. where would you rather play?

pokerroom is more comparable to FTP at HIGH limits, since Full Tilt gives 12-18 cents for larger pots and rakes, while PR is capped.
