(May 18, 2005) – Wal-Mart Stores Inc., operator of discount stores, announced today that Ace Kicker Tees, a dinky little company which sells T-shirts out of the owner's dorm room, is "freaking nuts" for pulling out of negotiations for a multi-billion dollar wholesale supply agreement. Wal-Mart spokes person, Chip Bully, confirms that Ace Kicker Tees had been expected to "do for Wal-Mart what Martha Stewart did for K-Mart". According to Chip, Wal-Mart simply could not justify putting the "F-word" on merchandise targeted at a juvenile customer base, even if it meant compromising billions of dollars of profitability. I agree with the t-shirt maker, why sacrifice your integrity for a buck?

Also, Walmart will basically own this company if they agree with these demands. Walmart has a history of bending over companies once they get business from them.

Things like "You can't sale these shirts at any other retailer, including your own website or stores", "We need you to lower your wholesale price or we will drop you and you'll be screwed".
