All of these are great suggestions.
I would also add "change games from time to time." I've found that my NL game has improved vastly by playing limit periodically (it tightens me up, gives me a different betting structure to analyze). ALSO, playing other games like Omaha has been awesome for my game too. Omaha is especially good because you are CONSTANTLY counting outs and odds and analyzing the texture of flops (even more so that hold 'em). -Matt |

First, Omaha gives me a big headache. Second, if you play Omaha, you will never play open-ended str8 draws in NLHE. Why would you ever play an 8-outer when you could play and 17 out str8 draw?? LOL Analyzing your hand and the board in Omaha is a biatch. |
