Re: Daniel Backing Himself
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] DN has already said he is backing himself 100% on these matches and while he may have his faults everyone agrees he's very honest. [/ QUOTE ] Alright, fair enough, but that does NOT mean he isn't receiving some form of kickback or deal for drumming up the extra advertising for Wynn Casino. [/ QUOTE ] He's most certainly being paid well to be the "Ambassador" for Wynn's poker room. My guess is that he took on that role with the terms of the deal being that he would do this or some other high stakes "promotion" of his choosing in the room in order to drum up business and publicity. The casino probably isn't directly taking a piece of his action in this, but I'd guess his ambassador's pay is a good chunk of his BR for this endeavor. If he didn't have this job, I don't think he'd have been sitting in a corner at Bellagio waiting to take on all comers. |

[/ QUOTE ] Also, what better way to improve your game than play the best. I'm sure the experience and lessons he's going to learn over the next few months could make him the best heads up player in any game in the future. This is really a win/win for Negreanu. |
