this is a copy of something I posted about 3 months ago:

"there are only 6 casinos in AC that spread poker, of which only 3 (maybe 4) are large enough to even warrant an in-depth review.
for easy reference I have generally used the article in the June 2004 issue of Casino Player entitled "Atlantic City: A Winning Deal For Poker Players" (pp. 34-35). it lists basic info on each of the AC rooms such as games spread, number of tables, and daily tourneys. you can try contacting the author of that article (nolandalla@aol.com) for a copy of the text."

maybe I'll type out the listings or scan the article.

As long as you play a selective aggressive style you are going to find good tables at any of the three big rooms (borgata, trop and taj). I personally find the Borgata to me the nicest and most pleasant to stay at (especially if you are sititng in one place for 12 hours at a time). Just don't be afraid to ask for a table change if you get stuck at bad table (too tight or too cold).

My personal favorite was the tropicana. At prime times (when I was usually there) the wait at Borg can be insane. I hate sitting around bored, and so I prefered the trop. I played 1-2 at both, with about equal success, and to me, the niceness of the borgs room and wait staff can't compete with having an hour or more extra to play instead of waiting.

Could this post become a sticky at the top of this forum? I could also add transportation information, which seems to be asked about a lot.

It's fine with me if you can figure out how to do it.

Check out this link, which has a review of all AC card rooms.

On a side note, realbad101 will be visiting a Borgata near you next monday through thursday, bottom feeding at the lower limits.
