What size pot would this example need to be where you would call that raise?

With an unknown opponent, I'd say at least 15-1.

Don't some aggresive low limit players raise at unexpected times? If you suspect that this type of player would do this 1 out 11 times wouldn't a call be correct?

If you had that type of specific read, yes. But in this example, we don't know the opponent.

I'd go as low as 12:1 vs. a Party unknown. My thinking being that even if I don't have the best hand, knowing what he had (and how he played it) will help me to attach a read to him that will make up for the difference in the future.

I suspect the river wasnt what the original op was talking about but bet the river.

Apart from that I dont think you did go wrong, the prf raise, flop bet were all standard, noone raised you on the flop so you have to bet the turn as well.

If someone was passive with their Krag or rivered trip 7's well thatsa the way of it, you played it fine.
