Default 2+2 at Table \"Secret Heads-up\" ???

So I am at a Party table and nobody is using the text message and suddenly one player sends "Sup Bro?"....no response from anyone.

I am kinda new to 2+2, but am well aware of Sup Bro's excellence, c'mon 15 tackles for losses, WHOA!!! Now I wasn't sure if I should respond. (wasn't sure which way was best to respond)

Question#1, is this code to id yourself as a fellow 2+2'er at table?
Question#2, if I wanted to id myself to that player what is the 'code' response.
Question#3 Does this make sense to anyone or have I gone off the deep end?

I think a "brown trout" reference would be in order.

Many good responses here. "Nothing, and it's not even close," "Nothing, but I'll let others elaborate," any brown trout reference, any 15 tackles for a loss reference.

I believe the expected response is "sup"
I wouldn't engage in that sort of thing though.

Thanks, "sup" seems to be the most inconspicous reply.

I'm not sure if I'd care about replying either, but wanted to check if I decide to in the future.

Last thing I want to do is lead the fish to 2+2,...lol.

btw, the search not working for me, would someone care to elaborte or post a link about the brown trout???

brown trout is the historical 2p2 code at the tables.

u could just drop "brown trout?" in a chat box and a 2p2'er would holla back w/ "sleeps in the closet","aye, the most difficult to catch," or any whitty remark to let u know.

As grinding gets so boring, I like to chat it up a bit with random trouters at the tables so I will generally reply if i see someone "sup bro"ing in the chat box. Normally, with somehting about being "all county in 95", or a trout reference.
