Default interesting qurestion- 72o and the average player

this is a really interesting question i asked myself-

i was dealing tonight at a casino and i noticed that whenever really low limit players get 72o they laugh and say, 'know way im playing this!' and fold telling everyone its the worst hand in poker and everyone quickly responds with 72o.

the question is: if the average player like the ones at these limits have never been told 72o is the worst starting hand you can have, would they play it or even more what do you think they think is the worst hand?

i think people would play it and i also think they would think 23o is the worst just because its low cards.

72 off is the hammer, it's a powerhouse hand valuable to advanced players for its deceptive capabilities.

The worst hand in holdem is AJo

Haha, not always so. The last time I played live a fishie cold-donked three bets with his 72o, and proceeded to bust my pocket aces with his raggedy two pair. What can you do but congratulate the guy?

I love 7/2o. I have played this hand so many ways, usually to profitable outcome. I often will raise utg w/ this hand ,ak/kk will 3bet. I'll call or cap depending on the action /amount of players in hand, flop two pair or trips and take it down went the other players dont improve. I once won back to back pots w/ this very hand capped on all streets, the action was trememdous. playing 3/6 won about 150$ in each pot. They thought I was playing a monster, then was amazed when I turned over 2/7o twice in a row.
