How do I play the river? Bet, fold to a raise? Check-call?

THanks.

Check/call and be ready to lose. Why didn't MP1 raise when he hit the flush.

A bet will
1. fold him - you get 0 bets
2. get raised - cost you 1 bet

yeah i would say check/call w/ the understanding your going to lose this pot a lot. But he will bluff at you enough to make it worth it.

Bet/fold.

Any particular reason to use this over the check/call line in this situation?

He'll call you with a worse ace here or a ten here a lot but check it behind often. Unless you have a read on him as a bluffer I don't think trying to snatch off a bluff is +EV here. A bet from an average PP 2/4 villain means you're toast. You can't check/fold to an unknown. A raise certainly means you're toast. Bet/fold.

To an unknown, bet and fold to a raise.
