Default Is this sustainable??? (low content)

I had to tell somebody about this...So I'm playing a couple nights ago before I head to my nearby Nevada border town B&M when this hand comes. Opponent is a maniac, 95/80 over 75 hands.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, MP calls.

Flop: (9.40 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP caps</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (8.70 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP caps</font>, Hero calls.

River: (16.70 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP caps</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 24.70 BB

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has Jd As (straight, ace high).
MP has Qc Ks (two pair, kings and queens).
Outcome: Hero wins 24.70 BB. </font>

I decide the time is right and end my session to head for the card room. I sit in 2-5 spread with full kill, which makes the game 5/10. It's Friday night and you can expect at least 2/3 of pots to be kill pots. The very first hand I am dealt goes like this.

I am EP1 and dealt KK. UTG calls, I raise, all fold to UTG who reraises and I cap. I'm cursing in my mind because I worry about the limp rr and being up against aces.

Flop comes 8 Q K rainbow. Yessssss!!!!

UTG bets, I raise, he reraises, I reraise, he reraises. I pause and begin staring at the board to make sure I haven't made some crazy error and misread it, and after I confirm for about the third time that I have the nuts, I reraise and he asks the dealer how many times he can raise. She tells him that HU there's no limit to raises. He continues to reraise me until he is all in (He began the hand with just over $150).

He turns over QQ, sees my KK and starts saying, "Oh, great hand man." Turn and river bring him no help and I take it down. He gets up and leaves and the whole table stares at me then erupts! I can't for the life of me figure what got into him. Everyone said he wasn't drunk and that he had been playing solidly for a few hours. I mean, you'd think that after about the 10th reraise he would think he might be beat.

Now if I could only keep it going.

im still learning 6max tables - but is it normal to cap pots with JA or did you only do it because he was a maniac?

indeed.

capping AJo isn't standard in 6-max against semi-normal opponents.

It is standard if your opponent has PFR-80.

nh's btw.

so your win-rate is something like 1427BB/100 I guess.

I capped not only because he was raising 80% pf, but because he seemed to be 3-betting all raises. Just got lucky.
