I would say Harman. I think I would be more scared to play her than Doyle Brunson, although I wouldn't mind losing as much.

Sixth Best in the World currently is probably Bobby Baldwin after having gotten back into the groove for a week or so.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah for sure, cause it only takes a week for you to dust off the rust and be the 6th best player in the world.

I can't wait till Lederer gets back into the big game as he said he will after his biz dealings (mostly Full Tilt) slow down and dusts Barry just to shut him up.

yeah yeah - probably won't happen but would be nice.
Barry is so egotistical.

maybe one of the older types, jack strauss?

[/ QUOTE ]

If I'm not mistaken, Jack "Treetop" Strauss is deceased, which would severely impair his performance in the "Big Game".....

This thread is ridiculous. I don't see what any of these guesses are even based on.

It's fun. But if you want to actually base your decisions on something, go to Barry G's website and check it out his analysis. It's entertaining, and well-informed.

I realize it looks that way. The reporter who wrote the article was talking about "great players" and pointed to some tournament players who are losing players. I said there are a million winning players in the country. But most of them are unable to travel to tournaments. I then said those players you think are great wouldn't be able to beat the big game. He asked who are the favorites in the big game. I named them. Some people said it's because we play so many games, and maybe that's true.
