wow...my personal favorite is shelter from the storm, however, they are all awesome. A few years ago, dylan came to the missouri state fair. I went with this hippie chick, and we smoked massive amounts of pot. As we were walking across this big grass field into the fair, i saw a tour bus, a stage, some equip....HOLY [censored], WE ARE BACKSTAGE. Unfortunatly, dylan wasnt around. We got spotted, which isnt surprizing as the chick was in a long, flowing, tie-died hippie-chick dress, and i was ripped off my ass. However, we did eventually worm our way to front stage, got passed like 20 joints from people twice our age, and all in all enjoyed one of the best concerts ive ever seen. In a place called sedelia missouri. God love dylan.

peace

Personally, "Just Like a Woman" and "Idiot Wind."

I saw him in October in Fresno, CA and in March in Oakland. Uhh, it was mildly disappointing, to say the least.

Rolling Stone had a poll a decade or so back for the best rock and roll song of all time. My memory is super rough as to exactly how it worked out, but I think it went something like, a bunch of musicians came up with contenders, and it finally got narrowed down to Born to Run and that great Dylan song -- I feel so dumb now -- where the guy is reaming out someone's ass mercilessly. You know, the one with the refrain of "How does it feel?" And lines like, "Ain't it hard when you discover that/He wasn't really where it's at/After he took from you everything/He could steal." Damn, I know most of the lyrics and can't remember the title. *sigh*

Anyway, that's by far my favorite Dylan song. Second up for me is actually the Hendrix-sung version of "All Along the Watchtower."

I would have to go with "Visions of Joanna" for my personal fave.
