Treasure Island Casino in Hastings, MN

I see that TI in MN is advertising a WSOP Satellite tourney that takes place next week ($125+25 is the buy-in and they're giving away one seat).

I didn't even know they had poker there -- or maybe they don't and this is just a special event.

anybody been there?

This is a special event, they dont usually have poker.

This was talked about in a previous thread last week. If you wish to play, I'd call now--they may already be sold out. Their is only 100 players per each of the 5 qualifying rounds.

Last year when Canterbury had the event, guys came in from Omaha, Chicago, etc.

thanks tek,

didn't want to play in the satellite (among other reasons that 20% rake is criminal) but find myself down that way occassionally and hoped they had opened a poker room.

Uh huh. lol. A few weeks ago when I cashed in a tourney for $6k, I said to myself "what a rip--$25 rake". NOT.
