Why won\'t my laptop play DVDs?(need help)
I put a DVD in and it'll play for a while, then the picture will freeze &/or get distorted. Is there a setting I need to change, or do I just have a crappy video card?
It's an Inspiron 8600 w/ Mobility Radeon 9000. Is there any way to get a new video card for it if that's what's needed? I'm sure this sounds stupid cause I don't know a lot about computers, but oh well. Thanks. |

go to dell's support site, download the driver file for the dvd drive, delete the drive from device manager (in control panel) and reinstall using the new driver after restarting.

Turn the parental protection setting down to allow you to watch your porn.

Do they have a better driver file now or do you think mine is just messed up?
