What to do with 10k FPP?
And before you say WSOP satellites, be advised that I am not good at NL Holdem. I will probably play one 1,000 point tourney, so I'll still have 9k to work with.
Do I get the clay chips? Or a myriad of other, lesser products? I have the beanie... I've heard good things about the tote bag. Let's have some reviews! |

Wait and use them for WCOOP fpp satelites, they will probably have limit hold'em tournaments.

Re: What to do with 10k FPP?
The 1k buy-in WSOP satelites gives the best value for the FPPs (appx. 15 cents each)

Re: What to do with 10k FPP?
If you suck at tournaments the value is like .00000000000001.
You'll lose long before you see the money. Hold out till you have enough for the chips, then if you rebuild your FPP points throw them at tournament buyins. |

Buy SSH for six of your closest friends.
Are the chips actually any good? |

Are the chips actually any good? [/ QUOTE ] This is what I'm wondering. They're only 8k points, so I can afford them if I want, but then I can't buy 12 pokerstars baseball shirts. |

Re: What to do with 10k FPP?
There is an outside chance that they may be actual CLAY chips - but from the picture, they look like the typical (and much cheaper) composite chips with the metal inserts.
If you want to be sure, go ask the guys in the home poker forum. They are obsessive about this stuff. |

Re: What to do with 10k FPP?
They are the cheap slug-insert 11.5g chips with a gold hotstamp of Poker Stars on them. Get them if you want for a friend who's new to poker - otherwise I'd save up for the nice heavy jacket they offer.
