Re: It\'s Been A Meh Day For Me
Maybe this guy read all of our "Limp-reraising is AA 99.9999% of the time" threads and is making a move with 72o?

Re: It\'s Been A Meh Day For Me
just to clear this up, 30/7 means 30 VP$IP and 7 pre-flop agression factor yes?
if so, my move is probably getting stacked by AA. not sure though, if you call and the board comes rags, your not in a nice spot here. don't know if i can lay down K's pre-flop, how much respect can you give at this level on these tables? I'm just not sure. |

Re: It\'s Been A Meh Day For Me
tough decision, only ever played 1-2 NL in vegas and if this situation came about over there, i'm all in unless i have a good read which tells me to do otherwise.

Re: It\'s Been A Meh Day For Me
That kind of bet screams to me that he has a hand other then AA. I could see him easily having QQ and he might be hoping to knock you off AK. If he has AA he is less likely to get beat so he would probably not reraise as much.
Either way I either go all in or fold. Unless the flop is something like K K rag you are going to have a hard decision to make. |

I push unless the stacks are about twice as deep then I call for set value.

Re: It\'s Been A Meh Day For Me
Do you always raise to 18? I think that large of a raise makes it seem a little more like a steal. Tough call with no read...I probably fold and keep an eye on him.

He calls with aces and folds the rest (unless he's a complete donkey). How long you been playing poker? The decision is clearly call or fold, although reraising less than all in, maybe to $250 or so could also be considered. I personally call, look at flop and play some poker. I'm not ready to fold my KK in this spot. I call and take it from there, possibily laying down on a rag flop if his flop action indicates to me that he has aces. Oh, and by the way, KKx flop is the only one you like? You don't like a Kxx flop? Come on.... |
