Default \"The Big Game\"... Rake & Tipping.. HOW????

if they are playing 2k/4k or 4k/8k.... how does the casino take a rake?? how do they tip?? do they stiff the dealers... a timed drop seems likely, but how much??

Are they sitting there with 150k in 1k chips and a stack of red and white??

you'd probably like www.pokerworks.com. Written by a dealer at the Bellagio. There's no rake. There is a time charge. I think Linda says that most of them are cheap tippers -either don't tip at all or don't tip very much. I know she would much rather deal a low or mid limit game than the "Big" game.

The dealers I know seem to think the tips are OK in that game, but not any bigger than any other game. Meanwhile there is a lot of dealer abuse and nastiness at the big games, which is what makes it not worth it.

I think I remember Linda saying that Chau is the only good tipper in that game. She also mentions that the players do recognize that she is a good dealer. I also remember her saying they will tip someone to go get them food a $100 but won't tip her anywhere close to that amt.

I think she has mentioned Doyle and Daniel N. as good tippers as well.

The game is played on a time charge for rake, I believe it's $10 per hour per player. As far as tipping goes, I don't think anyone ever tips more than a dollar a pot. That's what I overheard one of the floormen at the Bellagio saying.
