Hand 1: This is tough, I think. You are looking at a flop from an unraised pre-flop pot. Any holdings from the opposition are possible, KT not withstanding. You bet (why not just put the pot bet in?) and got the information you wanted. I don't think MP will let you see the river card for cheap if the turn misses your boat (which I think you need at this point). Got to fold
Hand 2: Basically no different than a OESFD. If you want to get it all-in, here, do it! Great odds to hit and good fold odds. Push it in. Regards, Mike L. |

[/ QUOTE ] No, because you'll often be a dog on the turn and unable (incorrect) to call a large bet, OR you'll hit and not get paid off by a spooked overpair. Best to put the money in when your advantage is concealed. |
