ea, you pretty much summed up the entire range of hands that the villain might have here...
A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K x That low bet screams value extraction to me. Question I have is why call the turn raise? On that turn, you have to question whether or not you're gonna be comfortable calling that bet if a heart comes off. Did you really think he'd check it down if one did? Did you like the thought of calling if he bet when one did? I think you put yourself in a terrible position. Your bet didn't work, there's almost no chance you're best on the turn and you can't like any of your outs all that much except maybe a T. Calling is very iffy, but if you called and lost - which I think will happen a good majority of the time as long as your opponent isn't a fish or some other sort of moron - you cost yourself $1,000 you didn't have to. - C - |
