? about Empire qualifiers: buyin

so when you win a qualifier on Empire, they automatically register you for that tourney. when I unregister, I don't get cashback, but a "freeroll" is added to my account. however, I can't seem to find anything else where I can use this "freeroll" so my questions are:

1)if i unregister, will i be able to use this buyin in the future?
2)what can I use it on besides the tourney for which i qualified?
