Re: Most Productive Use of Forums
Each of the forums will have their "must read" posters. I'd suggest reading the ones you're intersted in and you'll quickly learn who knows what they're talking about and who doesn't. Keep in mind that a high number of posts by a poster doesn't mean you should necessarily be listening to them.
Some posters to get you going: Dynasty, Clarkmeister, Ed Miller, Greg Raymer (Fossilman). Obviously, read Mason Malmuth and David Sklansky. There's Homer, Dr. Al, chesspain, etc. You'll figure it out as you read. Participate in hand discussions or at least try to think what your analysis is before looking at what others are saying. If you're comfortable, post some hands for discussion. If you have questions you think are very basic, post them in this forum. Check out the books forum for discussions of various books. That should get you started. Regards, T |

Re: Most Productive Use of Forums
It's my first day here and I was just about to ask the same question. Good thing I found your post before I did so ... saves me from looking like a dork the first time out.
