Did the villain's check-call indicate weakness? enough for me to bet at the river? Villain was 66/1

I'd think about bet/folding here, but checking behind is wise too as there are like 100 draws out there by the river

Without a read here I think checking behind on this river is fine. There are not that many worse hands that are going to call here. Of course, this is Party $2/4 so you never know.

Looks fine, he probably had a club in his hand. Hopefully he doesnt have an 6, 8 or 99. River check = gooooood.

I usually bet the river, but couldnt u just be setting yourself up to get checkraised?

I know that sounds weak, but this sort of thing happened to me 3-4 times last session and each time I got check raised on the river. I almost always prefer bet/fold then checking, especially behind...maybe I got a little rattled by it today.

first in from Mid/Late position you should be playing suited A's for a raise if you are gonna play them (which you probably should if you feel comfortable playing HU)...it stands to be the best remaining hand, gives you an opportunity to take the blinds, gives you initiative in the hand, and could possibly get a better hand or a hand that you would like to fold out (such as JT/QJ)...

I don't play at PP so I'm not sure how good they are but to me it seemed like he had a high club in his hand (jack or higher). I would've bet river too.
