Another stupid John Rocker quote

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but just found it in an article on espn.com. I figured I would read the article to see what John Rocker is all about now (he's playing for a small-time New York team now...go figure). This pull quote they had on the side pretty much changed my mind about reading the article. He's still an idiot:

“ I've taken a lot of crap from a lot of people. Probably more than anybody in the history of this sport. I know Hank [Aaron] and Jackie [Robinson] took a good deal of crap, but I guarantee it wasn't for six years. I just keep thinking: How much am I supposed to take? ”

Is this guy for real? Did he just compare the racial hatred that two of the all-time greats endured throughout their careers with the bashing he got, deservedly so, for what he said in SI?
Saying they "took a great deal of crap" may be the understatement of the century.
