Turbo Omaha Hi v\'s Hutchinson
Hi, Ive recently decided to learn to play omaha hi and as Turbo texas holdem has been so usefull to me I've just brought a copy of Turbo Omaha hi, I was planning to use a point count system to help me get started with choosing which hands to play. I was wondering if anybody had any idea's which point count system was the best for a beginer to use, either Edward Hutchinsons system:
http://erh.homestead.com/omaha.html or the ones included in Turbo Omaha, and which of Turbo Omaha's systems is best. By best I mean which is going to avoid me loosing to much making the least possible mistakes while I learn the game rather than counts orientated at maximising profits in certain type of games. Thanks in advance Joe. |

Re: Turbo Omaha Hi v\'s Hutchinson
joeg,
The way I played it in the beginning was varying the lineup between loose moderate and tight. Seeing the tight players hands with cards up gives you a good idea of what to play. The advice gives you the Hutchinson numbers which is helpful in some instances but in others not. I would just play the turbo developing your own skills by looking at advice, replaying hands, varying the line-up, until you become an expert at hands to play. gitz |
