Tell me I\'m a pansy
I need to work on my aggression after moving up to 2/4. At 1/2 I feel like I have more aggression but since the stakes are doubled at 2/4 I feel like I'm cold calling and just calling instead of raising.
I also curl up when someone raises any of my bets. Tell me that both these hands could have easily been improved if I just raised the damn flop. Hand 1: Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, MP2 calls, 2 folds, SB 3-bets, BB calls, Hero calls, MP2 calls. Re: Tell me I\'m a pansy
ya man, maybe those weren't bad folds if you had a good read on the other person. With no reads, I would stay in those hands, but limit hold 'em is very read and tendency dependent.

Re: Tell me I\'m a pansy
Hand one just hurts.
How the %$/& can you fold TP there? |

Re: Tell me I\'m a pansy
Because im a ^#&$*@$ pansy. I know if I just raised that damn flop Q/Q would fold, but noooo-- I kept thinking of A/K. Then that river K hit and the PF 3-Better checked and I'm like that *!@#$@ has QQ.
So a flop raise in both of those hands would be +EV correct? |

Re: Tell me I\'m a pansy
puke, barf, and hurl!
hand #1: reraise that junk on the flop, then the turn you can make a better decision. hand #2: ummm...not sure exactly without reads. i think i'd have called down. |

Re: Tell me I\'m a pansy
hand 1 is terrible
hand 2 isn't as bad - i'd probably raise the flop and see what MP3 does (he's probably got AK or JJ) |
