Default How soft is 2/4 compared to 1/2?

I was wondering how soft the Party 2/4 game is compared the 1/2.

Before I get flamed, I know that you can't determine your true win rate in the # of hands that I have played. I'm merely offering those numbers so you understand the motives behind my question better.

I played approx. 12k hands at 1/2 and was around 2.5bb/100 so I started looking at 2/4 and it seemed to be basically the same (same vpip%, pfr%, etc). I had the bankroll so I moved up to 2/4 and was around 2bb/100 through 15k hands. Then I hit streak where I lost all of my 2/4 winnings in less than 5k hands. I just seemed to lose to horrible hands (like A4o, etc) and get rivered a ton. I am currently at -.3bb/100 and so I went back to playing 1/2.

I'm wondering if I just got scared or if the games are not as similar as I first though.

Thanks

as a player that just moved up, i found 2/4 loosens up a good bit from the 1/2 newbie grinders and the bonus whores (ugh so tight). i like it as a refreshing new pace coming out from the 1/2 grind, let's me play my skills a bit more with the looser preflop play. it's

my thoughts are success at a limit, is largely determined by your confidence level, and ability to cope with bigger net loses on bad days
