Hoping for a bubble miracle. I have to call, right?
Playing in a local casino tournament last night, $100 buy in, 60 people starting. Its the final table with 9 people left and the top 6 spots pay. I have survived the last hour by stealing blinds but unfortunately the blinds are starting to skyrocket. I'm left with only 2600 and the blinds are now at 500-1000. The player to my left has about 1300 and is the small stack. Everyone else had between 5000 and 11000.
I was in the big bind and had 1600 behind after posting 1000. The table folds around to the the SB who goes all in. I look at my cards to find 7s3h. I don't think the SB has much but unfortunately he doesn't need much. I grit my teeth and make the call figuring I have two live cards and need a miracle at this point anyway. correct? |

Re: Hoping for a bubble miracle. I have to call, right?
You are getting almost 8-1 on your call, so you have a close call even if he shows you 88. Against a random hand, you are less than a 2-1 underdog. Your not happy to see 73, but you play it.

You are getting almost 8-1 on your call [/ QUOTE ] Huh? There is 3600 in the pot and it costs you 1600 to call. You're getting a little more than 2-1. Even so, this is an easy call. |

You mean, the SB isnt on your left in the game you play? Strange.
B/c in my game, the SB only had 1300. My bad. |

He got you with the misdirection... I thought at first it was the guy w/ 1300 he was calling too.
