Re: How many people bet this flop?
[ QUOTE ]
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 2 folds, MP1 calls, 1 fold, MP3 calls, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (5 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, Hero scratches his head and ???? [/ QUOTE ] I bet with an A/K kicker, those extra outs versus mid pocket pairs are huge, especially since if I get some callers I can't feel too good about my hand. also, flush draws will call which is bad for me. |

Re: PokerStove Equity
[ QUOTE ]
Very intesting. Assuming that SB is almost random (except the really trashy hands and that the other players are in the 25/5 range our equity here is only 15,2% So if your opponents rarely fold, you definately should not bet this flop. Board: 4d Qd Qc Hand 1: 15.1957 % [ 00.14 00.01 ] { 4c3c } Hand 2: 22.5478 % [ 00.22 00.01 ] { TT-44, 22, A9s-A2s, K9s-K7s, QJs-Q8s, JTs-J8s, T9s-T8s, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s, 54s, ATo-A8o, KJo-K9o, QJo-QTo, JTo } Hand 3: 22.2066 % [ 00.21 00.01 ] { TT-22, ATs-A2s, KJs-K8s, QJs-Q8s, JTs-J8s, T9s-T8s, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s, 54s, ATo-A8o, KJo-K9o, QJo-QTo, JTo } Hand 4: 22.0961 % [ 00.21 00.01 ] { JJ-22, ATs-A4s, A2s, KTs-K5s, QJs-Q6s, JTs-J7s, T9s-T7s, 98s-97s, 87s-86s, 76s-75s, 65s, 54s, AJo-A5o, KQo-K9o, QJo-QTo, JTo } Hand 5: 17.9537 % [ 00.17 00.01 ] { AA-22, AKs-A2s, KQs-K2s, QJs-Q2s, JTs-J2s, T9s-T2s, 98s-92s, 87s-82s, 76s-72s, 65s-62s, 54s-52s, 43s-42s, 32s, AKo-A2o, KQo-K2o, QJo-Q2o, JTo-J2o, T9o-T2o, 98o-94o, 87o-84o, 76o-74o, 65o-64o, 54o } [/ QUOTE ] cool...Thanks for that |

Re: How many people bet this flop?
I would check and fold to a bet.

Re: How many people bet this flop?
Turn the Qs into 8s or give me a bigger kicker and I bet this. As it is, you're in a classic reverse implied odds situation. The pot is small. Check/fold.

Re: How many people bet this flop?
Check and fold. Who's going to give action that you have beat? How about a flushdraw? And if they have 2 overcards to your pair, oh look, you're not actually ahead of that. This is not a good situation. Let them give you a free card, then check-fold the turn.

Re: How many people bet this flop?
Heads up, i bet it every time. Against a large field, check fold (unless the pot has grown considerably and you can see the turn for one bet) You could already be nearly drawing dead and every non club in the deck is a scare card for you.
