Re: Another Isolation Play
hand goes into muck PF. I don't like this at all. Your OOP here against a tard, nice, but not nice enough IMO. I'd muck this hand in an instant

Re: Another Isolation Play
I don't terribly like it being OOP, but on the Button or CO this is an easy raise. If he's got a reasonable WtSD I'm more liable to do this. You've easily got a value raise preflop against a guy with a VP$IP of 77, but being out of position kind of sucks.

Re: Another Isolation Play
This should be an auto raise. You have a huge equity advantage against this clown's range of hands.

Re: Another Isolation Play
I actually don't mind this...what is your sample size though?

Re: Another Isolation Play
I believe it was something like 50-100 hands, I'm at work now, so I don't have PT available.
Also, I believe BB was reasonably tight, for what that's worth. Postflop play OK? |

Final Pot: 4.50 BB [/ QUOTE ] this hand is well played, IMO. folding this preflop seems really really weak. a loose dude limped, most BB's will treat an SB raise with respect, etc... so you're out of position which sucks, but if you flop a pair your hand has massive showdown value, and if you don't you can still have the best hand. |

very standard [/ QUOTE ] Yep. I seriously can't believe people are advocating folding this? Preflop? It's A9 against a 77 VP$IP opponent who limped and a random BB. WTF? |

Re: Another Isolation Play
Well played.
I'm confused as to the "fold" advice as well. Even limping is better than folding. Assume villian has pretty much any 2 cards. You will be winning after the flop about 2/3 of the time. You must raise and bet any flop in this situation. |
