Default how to play this flop....

5 Handed £10 NL cash game.

I have £9, SB has £11.50 UTG has £25

SB is wild; UTG is trying to play every hand.

.25p SB and BB

UTG limps, I raise to £1.25 with As 5c

SB calls immediately, BB folds, UTG folds,

Flop comes 2h 3h 4c

SB bets £1.50……

I put him on any pair 5’s and over (he wouldn’t bet a set) or any Ace

What’s the move?

Raise. Something around the pot. You can't call and let him see the turn to possibly make a flush or higher straight.

Even if he doesn't have one of those draws they could be scare cards for him and kill your action. Maybe he has a set or 2 pair or something and will give you action on the flop thinking you might just have something like AK,AQ,AJ for a gutshot and 2 overcards.

Painfully easy fold preflop...You hate to hear it, but it's true

I asked for how to play the flop.

But since you want to talk about pre flop as well, please elaborate as to why this is an easy fold when UTG has been playing any 2....

Folding here would be absolutely ridiculous. Reraise him to 5. If he pushes 56 is only one of the many hands he could have at this level. You're not ever getting away from this.

A Raise to £5 would leave me with only £2.75.... This is clearly not the right move.

I would raise, no free cards, you have the wheel, so put him to the test, you say he's an idiot, so make him pad your BR.

snappo's post is the only one in this thread that makes any sense. Don't fold PF because it's 5-handed and everyone sucks. You have 8.75 on the flop, 7.25 after the call. you want to get this in over the next 2 rounds. raise to between 3 and 4, and push the rest on the turn. this is not a complicated hand.
