Jack Nine Suited
I'd only been at the table about 10 minutes or so. Pretty loose passive bunch, but had no real reads on people. Got the following hand and limped in from MP1.
Questions: did I play this too conservatively? Should I have bet flop and turn? I felt River raise was appropriate. Thanks for your input. Re: Jack Nine Suited
Looks good, preflop call is tight, but if they're loose and passive behind us its ok.

Re: Jack Nine Suited
Fold preflop when it's 2 back to you.
Bet the flop to pump your draw a bit. EDIT: take that back, with the raisers right behind you, you don't want to blast away the field. Check is good. |

Posts like this are pretty disturbing. Why? a) There is no reasoning behind why the hero should fold in this spot. At least give some analysis when you make a claim. b) It probably isn't even correct. I'll post some thoughts at a later time. Brad |

Re: Jack Nine Suited
Is 12:2 back to you enough to call two back here?

But, as I said, they were loose and passive. It ended up that the re-raise was a huge LAG and bluffed with rags. He folded and I did not get to see what he had thru the hand. This was a feel call on my part, and fortunately for me, it worked out this time. I agree, in a different table, this is a fold. walkdoc Eagerly anticipated... [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Jack Nine Suited
Fold PF. I am not calling two bets with a moderately strong suited one-gapper. Bet the flop. If table is loose passive you are not going to scare anyone away... I would be trying to build a pot here. Call the turn and I am struggling with this decision. Good raise on the river.
