Bad river laydown?
Villain is loose-aggressive.
What should I have done with this hand? I feel good betting out the flop and turn, and I have to call the turn raise because I still have the odds to make the straight. But then when my straight doesn't come through, all I'm left with is a pocket pair to two overcards. Should I have called? Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (3 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Hero raises, BB calls. Re: Bad river laydown?
The fact that he is LAG is enough for me to call down here. An ace is just the sort of card these players will bluff with.
If you know a bit more about how loose-aggressive he is, and if you have seen him bluff on scarecards before, that would help. |
