Fantastic book!!!
Nice design and easy to read. One of the best and most comprehensive books on limit holdem. The section on shorthanded is the best material i have ever found in print. I also like all the math being shown in the book. Thanks Mr. Yao! /Robert |

I just checked Amazon.ca and Yao's book is now ranked #337.
That is incredible given that the book just came out and doesn't get the publicity of publishers such as Cardoza or TwoPlusTwo. Congratulations King! |

Hi avatar:
Actually it's not. This website is a tremendous driver for poker book sales. So when a book gets favorable comments here by a fair number of people, the Amazon numbers can get very good. best wishes, mason |

I agree with Mason. The numbers on Amazon right now is clearly due to this thread on TwoPlusTwo.

Skimmed through the sample chapter. Definitely looks promising. I'm gonna wait a little while to read some more concrete reviews but if the feedback is solid I'll be sure to pick this up in the next couple months.

I type in Weighing the odds and NO author
it comes up with a statistics book by a different author. I type in the full title and Yao as the autor and it says .. No matches I go back to the first shortened entry Weighing the odds but with Yao as the author Bingo Will it be in any B&M store as I want to Win the Pot RIght NOW rather than wait 3-5 weeks. |

A ringing endorsement by a guy who has put out a pretty good book himself.
King, I like your chances. |
