Default I\'ve got it bad - bored and thinking of Vegas again this weekend

reading that mega trip report always gets me checking airline fares -

airline fare for my current days off would be 193 dollars - 3 days of hard playing and $193 dollars for a flight -

I can sit around the apt. again this week, go out, drink, watch dvd's, blow $800 parts on upgrades for a new PC, and sit my lazy ass in the new recliner, or I can go check out the new Wynn, get a Bellagio poker room rate, and generally have a hell of a good time bugging al capone jr. and photoc again and taking money in limit games and giving it all back via NL/Tourneys...

sheeeeit.... - let's take a vote -

If you can just hop on a plane and come to Vegas, I'm gonna have to let you know in advance when my next 2+2 home game is.

not any time - any Sun-Tues, if I really want to, I probably could -

but when the rates go up to $350 (as I know they will) - then I would really question the wisdom of it - but $193 - Jesus -

I was actually thinking of slumming at New Frontier and then walking across the st. to Wynn for my poker playing - might be a cool change -

I'll give myself a day to think about it -

Why not wait till June for the the big fest? After all you have Canteberry at your doorsteps.

well, if I came to the June one, I'm in the same boat - can't show up till Sun. Morning - (I have a great schedule that gives me 4 days off/week most of the time, BUT I must work every 3rd sat. when scheduled.)

technically, I COULD do both - LOL - Fly in early May/Mid June to Vegas, and July to NYC - I gotta start looking at getting frequent flyer miles though if I do that...LOL

I'm just kicking it around - I'm so damned frugal I won't stay at the Bellagio on it's cheapest night with a poker room rate, and last time I stayed up all Sat. Night getting drunk at the MGM Poker room till 3/afternoon when I could check in at my motel room - pretty damn sad....I'd rather just sleep on the plane and go to bed when I want this next time -

Really, 3 long hard days grinding it out is about all I'm good for anyways....but I may just do Canterbury instead - I really haven't decided yet -

Mike: "Do you think we'll get there by midnight?"

Trent: "Baby, we're gonna be up five-hundy by midnight. Vegas baby..."

Both: "VEGAS!!!"

That pretty much says it all.

What's the rate for Laughlin? Usually hotel is included with it, but if not, Dan can get you a rate of $10 at the Palms.

I don't have to be anywhere for treatment except on Tuesday at 12:30pm. I could meet up with you, we could even drive up to Vegas (90 minutes) and check out Wynn & MGM together.
