Personally, I love poker because it is a battle of wits with no perfect answers. In chess, you have moves, counter-moves, etc., perfect plays. In poker you don't have that. I also love the intellectual challenge implicit in the game. It's a chance to play a game that is dominated by decision-making. One doesn't just roll the dice. I love thinking through the game.
